Thank you for starting this thread, Adelina.
I was so shocked by Heath's death that I totally forgot about both Euros and U.S. Nationals.
I have seen "Brokeback Mountain"; I saw it in a local theatre when it came out; Heath's performance in it was magnificent, truly touching. He made a deep impression upon me, and was immediately added to my mental list of favorite actors. It has been very hard to accept that he really is not with us any more.
The last piece of work he completed, playing "The Joker", was apparently very hard on him, even causing him to lose sleep. They have shown bits of it on TV, that were harrowing. I think that when the film is released, people will be amazed at the characterization he achieved. It cost him so much; it's hard to say any more; I wish he were still with us. From all accounts, he was not only a really special actor, but also, a very loveable person.
