kind of ironic given that he says he hardly reads books! Some of the ones mentioned seem heavy-reading as well.  Still it will give him something to do during all the traveling..no taking a nap for him!!

A couple of years back I seem to remember reading about how he was reading The Catcher in the Rye or something along those lines(not my kind of book)...so i guess it's just a thing of like with most guys, watching tv is less effort.Personally I'd rather read,it's quieter.Anyway,It is very interesting,it will be interesting to see who wins the Best seller award.

Thanks for the article sharon.Laughing  Has anyone seen the short list as yet?  It should be interesting.  I think I can relate to Alexei when it comes to reading - I just don't have the time as much as I would like to.  I especially would like to re-read the great Russian literature pieces but have to be in the right frame of mind to do so - Chekov can be so psychologically bleak.....just IMHO~
