The stars on Ice (Russian) site has some nice pictures from the Nuremberg show:

couple of Alexei at bottom of page 1, one in his Shout costume at bottom of page 2 and one of him in the 'circle of ladies' towards the end of page 3 - his back is to the camera but the narrative above says its him...and I thought the pale pink top had been replaced by a nicer royal blue on.

Or you can hit ALL at the bottom of the page to get a continuous page but it can take a while to load.

I'm here!!!  I've been so preoccupied with preparing the final Russian linguistics exam the past few days it just seems the world has flown past me!  Anyhoo, back again and raring to go!

A terrific review and pictures from the Nuremburg show -

Thanks Kareena, I'd not come across this sight before.  The picture quality is good...love the practice shot of Alexei.

If you scroll down the list of shows on the left hand side until you come to photos2006/7, click on it, there are some photos from last season's tour, Riga show..a couple of Alexei ones.

So Kareena, you've been busy prepping the Russian linguistics exam ...here's a thought..perhaps you could get your students translating Alexei's Russian interviews, especially the  video's from the recent documentary.  I haven't seen any translations..boo hooCry..so it would be a public service as well as a good learning experience for themSmile.

Not a bad idea sharon! Actually, I've been burning the candle at both ends as they say - preparing the Russian exam and also preparing for the next level of Russian which begins next week.  My class is small but everyone in it wants to continue into the next level and the University has asked me to stay and teach this advanced class.  All this, and I started a new position with the government which will take me to Russia very frequently beginning this summer and into the future.....
