Being worried about imbedded codes should be the least of your worries, LOL. By providing links you stay away from problems with copyright infringement which would be the biggest worry, here.

(edited to add: As long as those who participate are only posting links there should be no problems with copyright violations. Just keep in mind that the linked sources for the vids probably don't have the rights to be posting them either, LOL. This is especially true of YouTube and somewhat true for fsvids.)

Oof, I forgot to issue another search request lol. Oh well, I told you I was new at this. Alexei's grandmother is not in the Tribute video, so I only fulfilled part of the request. Maybe someone else can find a video that includes his grandmother. I was going to request one of Alexei and Tatyana Tarasova hugging, but there is already a shot of that in the Tribute. Hmmmm. I'm not good at this, am I? lol

there is one. It's a documentary from a few years ago - 2005 I think. It has a clip with Alexei in the kitchen with his grandma. It is on Youtube. I have it downloaded at home so I'll look the title up and post the Youtube link but it might take a day or 2.
in the meantime....find me a video of Alexei playing table tennis.

Thanks, Sharon :). I'm looking forward to seeing Alexei in the kitchen with his grandmother :D. That will be a real treat for me. I have found one of him playing table tennis, although it's a very brief glimpse, but he talks in it :D. I had a wee picture - screen capture of it. Turns out its from the Love, Pain and Ice documentary but the picture didn't say which clip. Now, just for you ladies I made the sacrifice of sitting through 2 video's of Alexei in those small, tight black underpants (you know the ones) before I found the bit I was after. Wouldn't you know it, it was in the third clip. It's rather short at about 2mins 30secs in. No idea what is being said but it seems to revolve around a wooden chopping board! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2fZev7MO7I  ps - if you don't know which pants I'm talking about..get smelling salts ready, then go on to Youtube, type in Love, Pain and Ice and up they'll pop.

Thanks, ladies, for bringing these videos to light again. Regarding the one with the chopping board in it, I seem to recall having read a transcript of that video done by Tanya over at AYDG a few years ago, and in it there was something about that Alexei had made the chopping board which hangs in his grandmother's or mother's kitchen. I seem to remember that he was into wood burning and decorated that board.

Lately I got so tired from some bug or other. If only the mosquitoes would stop biting me!
I just couldn't think of anything, between being dog-tired and having so much going on. But I thought of something today: Alexei putting on his skates. I remember in the past seeing him in photos doing that, but I don't remember ever seeing it in a video.

I knew I'd seen one with him in the dressing room with Anton but couldn't find it. I think it was a SOI behind the scenes type thing. I was determined to find it, but just haven't had the chance to scour Youtube.
Then, as I was looking through my photo's I found a screen capture from Love, Pain and Ice.
Its not the one I was looking for but never mind...I was not going to be defeated by it!
