"Yes, we have no bananas"--but we do have a schedule page for the last in the series before the final; I am excited! So far, Johnny Weir is the *only* Men's Single competitor in the series with a total score of 30! Will Daisuke Takahashi match that? Won't he? Tune in to the ISU results page for all the action lol.

Here's hoping that Chengjiang Li is more fortunate than he was in his previous GP event, and that Andrei Griazev continues to do well, and that Sergei Dobrin makes a good showing! (Alexei Mishin has said he is a hard worker ;) )

In the Ladies, I am expecting Miki Ando to triumph, and I hope very much that the surpassingly graceful Alissa Czisny will do well in the technical aspects.

In Pairs, I think that Savchenko and Szolkowy will probably be the leaders, although I suspect Dube and Davidson will have something to say about that. It is an "additional event" (not counted in the total scores toward the final) for both teams, and currently, their current event score totals are equal. guess it depends upon who is having a good day lol.

Ice Dancing is a tough one to call; Delobel and Schoenfelder just racked up 15 points in their latest outing, but so did Virtue and Moir! Khokhlova and Novitski had 13 in theirs.

Okay, I have gone on too long lol. I really am excited!

Edited to add---mama mia! I just checked Sergei's bio, and yes, Sergei Dobrin HAS changed coaches!!!!!!! His coach is no longer Zhanna Gromova; it is Alexei Mishin!!!! Wow. I thought so, but now it is official on his ISU bio. They have not been updating those things until right before the skater's first GP event this season. It seemed possible that Mishin was only assisting, but no, he is now Sergei's coach.

As you can see, the top Ladies are very close in score. They finish tomorrow; there are no rest days in the NHK schedule once the competition starts; that is, after people in a discipline have skated one program, they have to skate again the next day, and in the case of Ice Dancing, they have to skate three days in a row. Whew!

You are most welcome, Karenna!  Thank you so much for re-posting them here!  I did not know whether or not to post further results on the EZ board.  I have been hurrying around lately, and I just saw the clock, and noticed that I had better get the further NHK results posted here, and *especially* to remind everybody that *today* ESPN will broadcast three hours of Cup of Russia  from 4-7 p.m.  This time, I think we shall not have to wait for some other sports event to end, since it comes after a dog show, and is scheduled at 4 instead of at 3:30!  I am really looking forward to this broadcast!!

Thanks Lina!  Unfortunately as a subscriber to Canadian cable we don't receive ESPN only ESPN Classic which unfortunately does not carry new events - only reruns of poker tournaments!  I haven't seen any skating coverage on Canadian tv since Skate Canada -
