small piece from Ice Symphony forum - says it all really.

King ice, Alexei Yagudin, going on the ice, led to such neistovstvo hall that bears a mantle storms: in his dancing always feel overcome, the path, difficult and energy. . That number "Overcoming" staggering and reveals the viewer, outlines the talent of figure skating talent, and "Winter" - is all his power when the whirlwind melts under the blades of ice skates.

and a nice picture - unfortunately the open to the waist shirt seems to have disappeared and he is back to his classic Winter costume.  I must admit to being slightly disappointed!Laughing!LOL

Thanks, Sharon :) .  I love the kind of descriptions posted about him in Russia.  That is the best description I have seen of the footwork section of "Winter", i.e., the whirlwind power  of his movements melting the ice under his skates.  The direct, emotional responses of the Russian posters are wonderful to read.    They touch the heart and truly demonstrate the effect Alexei's skating can have, which almost defies description.

Winter was the program that showed me what an amazing skater he is(saw the 2002 olys on tv),....and the footwork in that program is one of my all time favorites..my others would be Racing and Moon over Bourbon Street  Dodhiyel I think you described it perfectly.I have to say though,I like the black and white costume better,it is more "wintery"

OK I know it's just an excuse for some serious drooling but if you don't like to see Alexei's bare chest you can always look away!

I got to thinking,he may not be wearing the regular Winter costume as much because it is probably falling apart by now,I seem to remember an article a couple of years ago where his Mom had to do some mending on it,sew on more beads and stuff because it was falling apart.
  Also,the reason why I like the regular costume better,is because it better suites the music,it looks like cracked ice,and to me the open shirt ..shirt...looks more Latiny.Like something he could wear for Legenda or Sway.
