Within this article Alexei tells us what he will be doing for the New Year's holiday -

-Olympic Champion and 4 time World Champion figure skater Alexei Yagudin described to Rian.ru news that because of his dense schedule he has not had the time to purchase gifts for his loved ones.  "I am a  person that always does everything at the last moment.  Each day I have appearances and simply do not have sufficient time.  Recently I only sleep for 4 or 5 hours. The last show will be December 27th and then I will have time for shopping".  Alexei admits that he loves to give gifts more than to receive gifts.  "I will be frank - it is certain I like to buy for others" after adding that he wil be celebrating in St. Petersburg with his parents.

Olympic Champion and repeat World Champion figure skater Alexei Yagudin intends to note the arrival of 2008 with his relatives in St. Petersburg - "for me it is important on this night to be next to the people which I love.  Mom will dress up the fir tree and we will celebrate the New Year in our small family and already next day I will leave on tour. I will arrive home on the 31st. For sure Mom will make something delicious" Alexei reflects.

Alexei recently requests that his family not prepare any surprises for him.  "I have everything within.  There are simply no presents which I do not like and when they are from favorite people it is twice pleasant."  The figure skater reflects that his most unforgettable New Year was in Japan in the company of a leading Japanese television channel.  "It was extreme" says Alexei, not going into the details....

I would vote for mega-adorable myself. 

Alexei is never shy about how much his family means to him and I think he loves to give gifts to the people who  mean the most to him so they never doubt just how important they are to him.
