According to this recent article Ice Symphony cast will appear at the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos, Switzerland January 23 to January 27, 2008.

After today's financial bloodbath I think this is about as timely as it gets!

"The global financial crisis, the increasing role of public investment funds and an increase in food prices worldwide will be disussed at the next conference of the World Economic Forum taking place in Davos, Switzerland from January 23 to January 27th, 2008. 

Attending will be 2,500 delegates including 27 heads of state, 113 ministers and the senior managers of the top 100 companies in the world. Former Prime Minister of Britain Tony Blair and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger will be in attendance.

The Russian "Troika Dialogue" at the forum will organize a presentation on the ice which will include the partcipation of Russian Olympic and World champions.  Organized by Ilya Averbukh the appearances will include Evgeny Plushenko, Alexei Yagudin, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov.  After the forum discussion the delegates will be able to attend the event on the ice as well as sample traditional Russian food."

It is very interesting that skaters are included in an event like this.  Ilya has his eyes everywhere.

Hi Duckster!!
Please excuse me for being a little bit dazed tonight - it's been a long day with many disucussions between myself and the investing community and it ain't over  -  we were lucky that the US Exchanges were on holiday today....

....but I am just so incredibly impressed that Ilya has orchestrated the inclusion of Ice Symphony participants at the WEF this week.  This man is a promoter/producer in every sense of the word and Alexei has made a very smart choice remaining with Ilya.

Ilya's connections, resources  and energy amaze me.  He has really found his "place" as a producer.  I think it's a perfect example of just how smart Alexei is that he has  aligned himself  with this man.

Yes, Karenna, I think that Ilya Averbukh *defines* the word  "entrepreneur".
