  I read on a site and i heard at  news that Heath ledger died.
Last night when i read that i almost crying :((( He was so young. He left a wife and a child..this is so sad.

This is so very sad Adelina.....I thought very highly of Heath Ledger's acting ability.  I especially liked him in The Four Feathers but have never seen Brokeback Mountain.  My understanding is that he was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in this movie.  I have always wanted to see it and I will take the opportunity  to rent it perhaps this weekend.  There has been so much about his life and career in the media lately  since he passed away.  I have watched a short video of his role as The Joker in the upcoming Batman movie - The Dark Knight.  His performance is unbelievably chilling.  It was said on the news today that this recent role tired him tremendously and he was unable to sleep because of this....

Thank you for starting this thread, Adelina. 

I was so shocked by Heath's death that I totally forgot about both Euros and U.S. Nationals. 

I have seen "Brokeback Mountain"; I saw it in  a local theatre when it came out;  Heath's performance in it was magnificent, truly touching.  He made a deep impression upon me, and was immediately added to my mental list of favorite actors.  It has been very hard to accept that he really is not  with us  any more. 

The last piece of work he completed, playing "The Joker",  was apparently very hard on him, even causing him to lose sleep.  They have shown bits of it on TV, that were harrowing.  I think that when the film is released, people will be amazed at the characterization he achieved.  It cost him so much; it's hard to say any more; I wish he were still with us.  From all accounts, he was not only a really  special actor, but also, a very loveable person.
