I arrived in Tampa fairly late on Saturday and stupidly decided not to take my laptop with me but at least I''m online!  Library nearby thank heaven!  I hope that everyone is doing fabulously and I should be back in Winnipeg by Sunday - where it is 20 below zero.......

By ya'll!!!! I'll be back soon.......

Hi, Karenna! Glad you've checked in at the board with us! While Winnipeg may be horribly cold when you go back, you'll be one of the few people there with a nice tan at this time of the year, LOL. You can lord it over everybody, LOL. Enjoy the remainder of your vacation!

When i hear Tampa/Florida  i think to BSB..they come from there. LOL!

Hooray!!! I am finally back home!  Suitcases are not unpacked just yet but I wanted to get on the board first.  Florida was fantastic!! 83F, white sand, beautiful sunsets over the Gulf Of Mexico and funky little restaurants/shopping everywhere....I just might go back - very, very soon.....

Time to catch up with the world of figure skating and Alexei!

  Oh, wait a minute....I'm not  in Florida  anymore - I'm in Winnipeg for heavens sake

Glad you've returned to us, Karenna! Your body may be in Winnepeg but I think your mind is still cradled in a hammock under the palm trees as your ears listen to the whoosh-shush of the waves against the nearby sandy shore. Just keep thinking those warm thoughts and convince your chilled body that Spring is not that far off, LOL.

I'm glad you had a good time in Tampa, Karenna.  I have family there and we're there visiting at least a  few times a year.  It's wonderful in the winter, especially.  Every time we go, we talk about moving there.

I'm so glad to be back whisper!.  Virago I envy you tremendously....Florida is amazing, the people are friendly and the "gators" are tasty! Yes, I ate alligator - not a whole one but a shiskabob....sort of a "shiska-gator". It's true - it does taste like chicken but then again after drinking a "Bahama Mama" I probably would have liked anything they set in front of me!
